About Me

Finding a therapist is a big decision and it’s important to feel like there’s a good fit. Let me share a bit about myself and what drives me so you can get a better sense of who I am and how I work.
My practice focuses on delivering care that is both structured and practical, blending best practices with real world application. I'm deeply committed to maintaining integrity and grounding my approach in the latest research, continuously refining my skills through ongoing training and professional development. I also draw upon my personal experience with anxiety. This lived experience helps me appreciate how difficult it can be to quiet the inner critic and step outside of what’s familiar. I understand how overwhelming these moments can feel, and it’s this understanding and specialized training that fuels my work.
Life can be rich with meaning at every turn, even in the face of hardship. I aim to be kind, open, brave and to bring a touch of humor when the weight of life feels heavy. I'm committed to modeling this perspective in therapy and helping you develop the skills and mindset to embrace this view in your own life.
I view the therapist-client relationship as a collaborative partnership. You are the expert in your own life, bringing your openness, vulnerability and willingness to change. I bring a method, compassion and unwavering support. Together, we work toward a shared purpose - helping you live well, even when faced with life’s inevitable challenges and uncertainties.
I truly love the work I do and I’m profoundly grateful for the privilege of walking alongside my courageous clients as they navigate and overcome OCD, PTSD and anxiety. It’s incredibly rewarding to witness their growth and resilience.
On a more personal note, I was born and raised in California. I enjoy nature walks with my dog, live music, comedy, and spending quality time with friends and family. I’m also a big fan of good food (and chocolate!)
My Values
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) includes exploring your values and how they align with your choices and actions. I live by these principles myself, striving to connect with my own values.
Like diving into deep blue water, where the depths are hidden and the bottom remains out of sight, embracing discomfort and fear can be daunting—but when you know it brings you closer to a fuller life, it becomes profoundly meaningful. Helping clients reconnect with what matters most is deeply rewarding and I’m here to remind you that you are so much more than anxiety and fear! I welcome the opportunity to help you explore your values and live a more meaningful life.
